The Super Switch Club – “EarthBound” (Season 8) Announcements!

For an audio version of these instructions, check out our latest Undocked episode!

The following are instructions and suggestions for submitting this season:

Directions:

  • 10 minutes max! – we’re going to be enforcing the limit a lot harder
  • Don’t narrate everything, be selective about what you talk about – focus on things you either loved or hated
  • Leave pauses between subjects in your audio (these will not count against the time limit)

Note: For the manual episode specifically – Don’t read the whole thing, there will be a secret narrator. Just call out things you care about in the first 14 pages (the rest is a player’s guide).

Suggestions:

  • Take notes beforehand
  • Edit your submission down (leave bloopers at the end of the sub)
  • Be proactive and submit before the deadline
  • Don’t describe every battle – please

Note: The Manual Episode is also a good time to talk about your nostalgia for the game and any behind-the-scenes trivia.

——— Manual submissions due Mon, Sept 16th!

First gameplay segment submissions due early Oct
