And our next game is… “STAR TROPICS” (NES, 1990) – SSC Schedule Announcement

It’s official, the next game on the Super Switch Club podcast is “STAR TROPICS”! (NES, 1990)

Here’s what we have for a tentative schedule so far, so feel free to start playing and get a head start on recording before then:

  • Episode Zero: The Instruction Manual (and NES nostalgia) – Due: Mon, Jan 8th (2024)
  • 1 – Chapters 1 / 2 – Mon, Feb 5th
  • 2 – Chapters 3 / 4 – Mon, Feb 26th
  • 3 – Chapters 5 / 6 – Mon, March 18th
  • 4 – Chapters 7 / 8 – Mon, April 8th

Here’s a little Submission Guide that Frost and Erik came up with:

  1. Please keep entries around 3-5 minutes, 10 minutes max. (Note: We’re willing to make exceptions on occasion, especially if you’re really passionate about the game, but please keep your editors in mind)
  2. If you aren’t doing your own editing / noise reduction, please record about 10 seconds of silence at the start of your submission.
  3. Introduce yourself – who are you, where can we find you? (If you have a podcast promo, be sure to send it to us as well!)
  4. If you can, try to leave a slight pause between topics (this helps a lot when editing)
  5. If you’re editing your own submission, feel free to add any bloopers / outtakes at the end.
  6. Don’t stress about it being perfect.
  7. MP3’s preferred (if possible), but not required.
  8. Make sure that when you submit, that the file actually sends (you have to hit send after uploading) – we’re always worried about people thinking we rejected their material.
  9. If you have any questions be sure to reach out to us on the Discord, or social media.
  10. Thank you for being part of the club!
