Podcasters Assemble: The Best of Patreon!

Since we first started up our Patreon for Podcasters Assemble, we’ve put together an impressive collection of exclusive bonus episodes, and we’ve got even more in the works! So if you’re a fan of the podcast and want to help support us, you can unlock all of this for just $3 a month at Patreon.com/PodcastersAssemble! (In addition to ad-free content, early access to new episodes, and a metric ton of blooper reels for our past several seasons!)

Street Fighter: The Movie (The Commentary Track!)

Our “Street Fighter: The Movie” commentary track is absolutely hilarious, and it took Erik several months to edit because of a technical issue about halfway through the recording! Featuring: Zack Derby (The NeatCast), Erik Slader (Epik Fails of History), Kory Torjussen (The World Is My Burrito), Justin Ache (Significant Otter Co), and Chris Carroll (Comic Zombie)!

This one was initially meant as a tie-in for our Mortal Kombat season back on Season 5, when we were just getting the Patreon set up. It was also our third commentary track, following “Godzilla vs the Smog Monster”, and the unofficial Sean Connery Bond film, “Never Say Never Again”, both of which are delightful in their own right! (also on the Patreon) Funny behind the scenes note: in a lot of ways, this bonus episode was really what led to our Podcasters Disassembled episodes!

The Batman Games (4-Parter!)

As a tie-in with our Batman season (Season 8), where we watched *every* live action (solo) Batman movie, Erik Slader, Chris Carroll, and Zack were joined by Stephen White (Super Mega Crash Bros Turbo!) to go through and discuss *every* Batman video game!

(We’ve also covered the Bond games in previous bonus episodes!)

The Jurassic Park Books (w/ Erik and Kory)

Erik Slader and Kory Torjussen team up once again, this time to talk about Michael Crichton’s classic 1990 novel “Jurassic Park” and it’s sequel, “The Lost World”!

Podcasters Disassembled: “No Time to Die” – a six-part review!? (w/ Ben Thompson!)

Our long-awaited finale to Season 003 – counting down every Bond movie to Daniel Craig’s final turn as 007 in “No Time to Die”! Erik, Justin, and Kory are reunited with Ben Thompson (Badass of the Week) for this epic six-part review of the 25th Bond movie, as well as a retrospective over the entire franchise as a whole, and what they hope to see from the series in the future!

The Matrix Games (w/ Erik and Justin)

Erik and Justin join forces to tackle every Matrix video game!

The Jurassic Park Games (w/ Game Game Pass)

Erik and Zack are joined by Doug and Ryan from ‘Game Game Pass’ to talk about several of the early Jurassic Park video games, as well as the Tell Tale Game!

The *REAL* Ghostbusters: Animated Series

Erik finally found the lost bonus episode from our “Ghostcasters” Season (Season 6), where we broke down our thoughts on the animated series: “The REAL Ghostbusters”! (not to be confused with this one)

The Star Wars Holiday Special (and other Ad-Free Promo Specials!)

Listen to an ad-free version of Tyler and Troy’s Season 2 review of the fever dream that is the Star Wars Holiday Special! (And check out our other ad-free promo specials, including the Mortal Kombat Games, and the Best / Worst of Godzilla and Kong!)

Mortal Kombat: Legacy (w/ Super Mega Crash Bros Turbo!)

Erik and Zack were joined by Stephen and Laceya (of Super Mega Crash Bros Turbo) for this awesome bonus episode on the forgotten, much maligned, live-action mini-series, “Mortal Kombat: Legacy”! (Fun fact: also the episode that introduced Hypno Toad)

The James Bond Books (w/ Erik and Justin)

In one of our earliest bonus episodes, Erik and Justin decided to do a book report on several of the classic James Bond novels – including many of the original Ian Fleming books, and some of the more recent ones as well! (Also, check out our bonus episode with Travis Bow of Reel Comic Heroes – on the Bond Comics!)

Podcasters Disassembled: The Matrices (w/ Zack and Kory)

In this debrief to our Matrix Season (Season 7), Zack Derby and Kory Torjussen break down the meanings behind the code of the Matrix franchise! (also, listen to Troy introducing his wife to The Matrix for the first time!)

Coming Soon(?) to the Patreon:

  • Super Mario Bros (1993) – Commentary Track
  • The Young Adventures of Indiana Jones
  • The Matrix Comics
  • The Best / Worst Animated Batman Movies (w/ Comic Zombie)
  • The Star Wars Games (multi-parter)
