“It’s hammer time!”
*Originally posted on “Bill’s JRPG Adventures and Other Trappings”!*
Our group of podcasters continue their quest to save Hyrule in “Zelda II: The Adventure of Link” (on the NES and Nintendo Switch virtual console)! On today’s episode – Jay goes down memory lane! After obtaining a magic hammer from Death Mountain, we trudge through a creepy graveyard, rack up some XP, raid a church in Mido Town, fall down a hole, turn into a fairy, find a crappy raft, fight our way through a frustrating legion of Red and Blue Iron Knuckles (who we vanquish with the “D-Stab”), and finally conquer the Island Palace! (but we tragically lose Scott along the way…)
